
Karwar : “Karnataka State” will be the priority of the Central Government in coming days” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He was addressing a mammoth gathering at Hattikeri Village of Ankola Taluka near here on Wednesday.
Modi further assured that the Bharatiya Janata Party led central government will make Karnataka State ‘Number One’ if voted to power.
Though Modi has not directly attacked the opposition Congress, he said that before nine years when UPA government was in power, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) was around Rs.30,000 Cr. But, now within BJP’s nine years of Governemnt FDI has increased to three time ie., Rs.90,000 Cr.
Modi started his speech in Kannada with a slogan ’Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Bajaranga Bali ki Jai’. In Kannada he addressed “Uttara Kannada Jilleya Nanna Sodara Sahodariyarige Naana Namaskaragalu”.
