Rotary Club of Karwar celebrates ‘Labour Day’ felicitates Masons and Labours

Karwar : Rotary Club of Karwar celebrated ‘Labour Day’ at the Club Premises here on last Monday. Four labours and masons have been felicitated on the occasion.
Art teacher of New High School Baad Anand N Ghatkamble was the chief Guest. Retired Art teacher Anil Madival was the special invitee.
The President of the Club Rotarian Raghavendra G Prabhu welcomed the gathering and said that the Rotary Club of Karwar is felicitating Labours every year, recognising their distinguised service to the society.
A Pourakarmika of Karwar City Municipality, Mutyalu Anjaneya Juturu, a Mistri of concrete gang, Sawantbabu Shankar Gouda and a labour Bhimappa Hanumappa Abbigeri have been felicitated.
The Secretary of the Club Rotarian Gurudatta I Bant spoke on the history and significance of Labour Day celebrations.
Rotarian Krishnanand Bandekar compered the programme. Rotarians K D Pednekar, Shailesh Haldipur, Nagaraj Joshi, Amarnath Shetty, Satappa Tandel, P S Naik, Murali Govekar, Principal Govindappa, Vinod Kotharkar, Madhav Naik and other masons, women labours were present.
