MLA Roopali Naik accepts suggestions from Sports Enthusiasts to develop Government High School (Maladevi) Ground

Karwar : MLA Roopali Naik had a discussion with Sports Enthusiasts of Karwar in connection with developing the existing Government High School Ground which is locally called as Maladevi Ground.
A meeting has been held in the Municipal Conference Hall on Wednesday. Roopali Naik informed the sports persons that the Government is constructing a Stadium in the Maladevi Ground utilising MLA’s Local Area Development Fund. She requested to offer their suggestions for developing the stadium and constructing facilities viz; Walking Path, Running Tracks, Cricket Pitch, Football Goals Posts, Volleyball polls and other outdoor games and sports events. Further they suggested that the Stadium should be constructed as early as possible to encourage the younger generation in sports activities. They thanked Roopali Naik for taking initiative in constructing Stadium in the heart of the city which was the dream of Karwarians.

CMC President Dr. Nitin Pikle, Vice-President Prakash Naik, Municipal Commissioner R P Naik participated in the discussions.
Councillor Premanand Gunaga, Ex-Councillor Ratnakar Naik, President of Volleyball Association Sadanand Naik, Cricket Players Girish Naik, Dominic Dias, Aaleem Shaikh, Prasanna Kamat, Nagesh Naik, Sports Officer and Physical Trainer Prakash Revankar, Uday Naik, Amit Kamat, Raju Desai, Pradeep Shetty and Ajit were present.
