Installation Ceremony of Rotary Club of Karwar – Members aim at serving the community, promoting Goodwill and Peace

Sewing Machines have been donated to two women beneficiaries
who have been trained in the “Vocational Training Centre” of the Club.

Karwar : Installation Ceremony of the new President Rotarian Narendra Bala Desai has been conducted here on Saturday. The District Governor Elect Rotarian Venkatesh Deshpande administered the Oath of Office.
Speaking on the occasion Rtn. Narendra informed that he has planned several programmes under the six Areas of Focus of the Rotary viz; Economic and Community Development, Basic Education and Literacy, Maternal and Child Health, Water and Sanitation and Disease prevention and Treatment. The Club has a “Vocational Service Centre” in which the club is planning to give training in Tailoring, Mobile and Computer repairs, Electrical, Plumbing and other Skill, he added.
Installation of Innerwheel Club a women’s wing of Rotary International also been conducted on Saturday. The senior member of the IW Club Ms. Rosline Fernandes conducted the Installation Ceremony and administered the Oath of Office.
