The Minister for Home Affairs Basavaraj Bommai announced that the Karnataka Government has decided to bring out stringent “Anti Cow-Slaghter Law” in the state shortly. Speaking with the Media in Karwar today, Bommai said the Animal Husbandary departement is already working on it. The law will be brought after consulting with Law department and parliamentary department , he added. Though there is a strong vigil in the state cows and buffeloes are being transported for slaughtering. This will be completely stopped. As per the verdict given by Honble Suprement Court several committees are formed chaired by the District Commissioner in this regard. These committees will be revived, he added.
