Kumta : The Deputy Commissioner Prabhuling Kavalikatti attended the programme ‘Jilladhikarigala Nade-Halli Kade’ at Bargi village near here on Tuesday.
DC distributed several Pension Sanction letters to the beneficiaries.
Kumta : The Deputy Commissioner Prabhuling Kavalikatti said that the government has started a program in the remote villages with a goal in mind therefore it is our concern to work to make it successful.
DC launched ‘Jilladhikarigala Nade – Halli Kade’ programme by lighting a Lamp at Shree. Mahalingeshwar temple in Bargi village of Kumta taluk, organized by district administration, taluk administration and various departments. He said that the representations submitted for individual issues would be sent to the concerned departments and such representations would be resolved immediately.
He further said that if the public has any problems related to bus, encroachment and surveys of the revenue department, they will be checked thoroughly and a alternative solution will be provided to them.
After that, Tehsildar Vivek Shenvi said that as per the order of the government, on every 3rd Saturday, such programmes will be held in villages of the district where the DC will chair the programme.
Sinilarly this day, the purpose of this program is succeeded by listening the problems of Bargi village and solving them on the spot, Shenvi added.
DC distributed the sanction order copies of Disability Pension, Widow Pension, Sandhya Suraksha to the beneficiaries.
Kumta AC Raghavendra Jagalasar, Gram Panchayat President Vishalakshi Patagar, Social Welfare Department Deputy Director Ajappa Sogalad, Taluka Panchayat Executive Officer Nagaratna Nayak, ACF Lohit, District and Taluka level officials were present at the programme.
