Karwar : Minister of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj K S Eshwarappa visited Bolve village of Kerwadi Gram Panchyat in Karwar taluka to inspect an ongoing drinking water project here recently.
MLA Roopali Naik has brought to the notice of the Minister, acute drinking water problems faced in Karwar and Ankola and also problems of Gotegali and other nearby villages of Kerwadi taluk where the residents are facing lot of problems of Water Salinity and shortage of water during peak summer seasons.
Eshwarappa while responding to the problems of drinking water, assured that all these villages will be covered under State Government’s various schemes and programmes and the serious problem of drinking water will be solved.
The District In-charge Minister Shivaram Hebbar, MLC Shantaram Siddi, ZP CEO Priyanga M, office bearers of BJP Rural Committee, Office bearers of BJP Women’s Front and other BJP members were present.
