New Team of Rotary Club of Karwar set in motion for Community Service PRID Rtn. Ashok Mahajan administers oath of office to Rtn. Dr. Sameerkumar Nayak as President

Karwar : The Past Rotary International Director Rotarian Ashok Mahajan administered the oath of office to the newly elected President of Rotary Club of Karwar Rotarian Dr. Sameerkumar T Nayak and his team of Office bearers, Directors and Committee Chairs here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion Mahajan said that the Rotary organisation has taken polio eradication as its top priority and launched PolioPlus in 1985.

Through decades of commitment and work by Rotary and our partners, more than 2.5 billion children have received the oral polio vaccine, he added.
The President of the Club Rtn. Dr. Sameerkumar T Nayak pledged to work hard for the community and poor. The outgoing President Rtn. Raghavendra Prabhu welcomed. Secretary Rtn. Gururaj Bhat proposed vote of thanks. Rtn. Krishnanand Bandekar and Seema Haldipur compered the programme.
