Karwar (By Suraj Kroomkar) : “Legal Awareness-Service Programme” has been organised under the Joint auspices of the District Legal Services Authority Uttara Kannada , District Bar Association, Karwar, Police Department and Karwar Institute of Medical Sciences, at KRIMS Auditorium here on Tuesday.
Hon’ble Principal District and Sessions Judge and Chairman District Legal Services Authority D S Vijayakumar inaugurated the programme. Speaking on the occasion, he explained about the legal rights of the citizens laid down in our Indian Constitution.
Dr. Gajanan Nayak, Dean and Director of KRIMS welcomed the gathering and thanked the Legal Service Authority for organising the programme.
Hon’ble 2nd Addl. District and Sessions Judge, Mayanna B L, Superintendent of Police, Dr. Vishnuvardhan N, Senior Civil Judge and District Legal Services Authority Member Secretary Renuka D Raikar, Dr. Shivakmar G L , Principal, KRIMS were the Guests of Honour.
Anand Murthy, Police Inspector, Cyber Economic and Narcotic Police Station Karwar and Senior Advocate A R B D’souza gave talk and Power Point Presentation on Cyber Crimes and Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Acts and their control.
