Karwar Cultural Achievers honoured at Multi Lingual Cultural Fest Organized by Karnataka Byari Sahitya Academy

Karwar : Two Linguistic and Cultural Achievers of Karwar, Ibrahim Kalloor and Premanand Gadkar have been felicitated at Multi Lingual Cultural Fest Organized by Karnataka Byari Sahitya Academy here recently.
Karnataka Byari Sahitya Academy in coordination with Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy, Karnataka Arebhashe Sahitya Academy and Karnataka Kodava Sahitya Academy had organized Multi Lingual Clultural Fest at Zilla Ranga Mandir.
The President of Byari Sahity Academy Rahim Uchchil while speaking on the occasion said that their Academy has been conducting Cultural Fests not only in India but in Soudi Arabia, Muscat and Singapore also. He pained to state that Government is not coming forward for any financial assistance.

But, local social organizations help financially to conduct such cultural events. He thanked K P Manjunath Sagar, President of Vishwa Kannada Samskriti Sammelana Samiti for his help and guidance for conducting Festivals in India and outside.

Multi Lingual Seminar, Poetic Forum and Cultural Programmes in Kannada, Byari, Tulu, Konkani, Kodava and Arebhashe languages have been conducted. Rama Naik (Kannada), Aravind Shanbhag (Konkani), Nagesh Anvekar (Karwar), Vishnu Rane-Gumate Pang (Kinnar, Karwar) have participated from Uttara Kannada District.
Comedy artist Mahadev Sattigeri of Dharwad has performed Comedy program. Other cultural programmes entertained the audience.
Registrar of Byari Sahitya Academy Poornima, Misriya Nafiz and others were present.
Hussain Katipalla and Go. Na. Swami compered the programme.
Cultural Events Organizers “Hrudaya Vahini” Mangaluru provided technical guidance and support for the programme.
