Karwar : The Assistant Commissioner Vidyashree Chandargi visited Kadra Dam site and Mallapur village on Saturday to oversee the arrangements for rescue operation teams in case of any floods.
AC visited Kadra Dam site and confirmed that the water level is 31.5 meters and 5500 Cusecs of water has been released through 3 gates. She directed Revenue Inspectors and PDO of Mallapur and Ghadsai to make arrangements for Boats, Swimmers and Divers during emergency rescue operation.
She visited Kadra labour colony and advised the residents to be vigilant during floods and take COVID vaccines without delay.
Vidyashree learnt to have inspected the newly constructed Ulga-Kerwadi bridge and excavation work for pillars.
Tahsildar of Karwar, Presidents and Vice Presidents of Gram Panchayats and all the officials were present during the visit.
