I am delighted to meet you all. Because, earlier I sailed in Naval ships with sailors and I had interaction with them. But, my today’s visit of Project Sea Bird will be memorable. Earlier I had curiosity to see and know about “Sea Bird” Project.
Some time back I stayed in INS Vikramaditya and while returning to New Delhi Admiral Karambir Singh had shown this place from the sky “this is the land of Karwar”. When I saw Karwar from the sky and now after seeing closely I am very much delighted, and I want to say that my confidence level has increased with regard to this Naval Base and I am sure that once the Project is completed it will not only strengthen Defence related strategies but also will strengthen Trade and Economy of our country.
I believe when our approach is humanitarian we will get strength. I am sure that Karwar Sea Bird Naval Base will be Asia’s biggest Naval Base. In this direction if increase in budgetary allocation is required, it will be fulfilled. When I was conducting aerial survey today I was seeing its future also. The future of this Naval Base will be very bright. The credit goes to you all. I congratulate to all our Naval officers and sailors.
