Political ‘Dangal’ begins in Karwar Ahead of Assembly Elections

Karwar : Political ‘Dangal’ has almost started in Karwar-Ankola Assembly Constituency ‘Akhada’ between the former MLA Satish Sail and the sitting MLA Roopali Santosh Naik here on Friday.
As the assembly elections are approaching, political activities are on the rise in the coastal district of Karwar. The rivalry between Roopali Naik and Satish Sail has intensified. Roopali Naik filed a complaint against Sail for assaulting her, and Satish Sail filed a complaint against Roopali saying that she had verbally abused him.

On one side, Satish Sail was seen sitting with his supporters in front of the police station , on the other hand, Roopali Naik came to the police station to complain against the Sail. These Bizarre scenes were seen in Karwar.
When Senior Political leaders of Karnataka have predicted that the announcement of Election Commission will come out by 20th of March, and the elections are approaching, political activities have heated up in Karwar.
On Friday Satish Sail went to the office to talk to the CEO of Zilla Panchayat of Karwar regarding transfer of the PDO of Majali Gram Panchayat. At the same time, Roopali Naik also entered the ZP CEO’s office and a fight started between the two. The fight between the two escalated, after which Roopali Naik reported to have come to attack Sail with a paperweight, Satish Sail went ahead to file a complaint with the Karwar City police station asking them to file a complaint against the Roopali Naik and take action for insulting him.
