The residents of Goudawada Baithkol and others filed a writ petition in High Court of Karnataka apprehending construction activity by the Deputy Director General, Project Implementation, Project Seabird, Naval Base, Arga and others which may result in loss of life and damage to property. Citing the incident that took place at Madikeri, they pointed out that the construction may bring the same fate.
