132nd Dr. B R Ambedkar Jayanti celebrated at Karwar with great enthusiasm and fervor

Karwar : 132nd Dr. BR Ambedkar Jayanti has been celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor under the joint auspices of the District Administration, Zilla Panchayat, Social Welfare Department, Kannada and Culture Department and CMC Karwar here on Friday.
The District and Sessions Judge D S Vijayakumar inaugurated the function by lighting a lamp. The Deputy Commissioner Prabhuling Kavalikatti speaking on the occasion said that all the Jayantis should be celebrated to understand the teachings of “Mahatmas”.
Senior Civil Judge and Member Secretary Renuka Devidas Raikar, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Ishwar Kumar Kandoo, Superintendent of Police Vishnuvardhan were present in the program.
IAS Probationary Officer Zubin Mahapatra, District Panchayat Administrator P. Hemalatha, Tahsildar B.G. Srinivasa Prasad, Deputy Director of Social Welfare Department Ajappa Sogalad, Assistant Director of Kannada and Culture Department Dr. Ramachandra K and the officers of various departments of the district level were present.
