Karwar : In a unpredicted reshuffle of bureaucracy 9 months ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the State Government on Tuesday transferred as many as five IAS Officers, from Uttara Kannada, Davanagere districts and other departments.
Gangubai Ramesh Mankar, IAS (KN 2014), Secretary, Karnataka Information Commission, Bengaluru has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada district.
Wednesday afternoon the New DC Gangubai Mankar has taken charge as Deputy Commissioner of Uttara Kannada district.
After taking charge Gangubai Mankar addressed the media and expressed her happiness and said that she was conversant with the district when she was serving as Assistant Commissioner at Kumta.
The Govt. Notification did not specify the new posting to the outgoing DC Prabhuling Kavalikatti.
The ADC Raju Mogaveera was also present.
