District Administration Bids Farewell to DC Prabhuling Kavalikatti

Karwar : The district administration held a farewell and felicitation programme to outgoing DC Prabhuling Kavalikatti here on Friday.
The programme was held at the DC’s office meeting hall. The ADC Raju Mogaveera and the Assistant Commissioner Jayalakshmi Rayakod have felicitated Kavalikatti on behalf of Distrrict Administaration, Officers and staff of Uttara Kannada district.
Speaking after felicitation Kavalikatti said that the time of nine months may be short to serve but that much time is enough to work, the effect of the work is more important than the time, he added.
Later, the new DC Gangubai Mankar said that all are proud about the work done by the outgoing DC in a short span of time.

Karwar : While speaking after the felicitations, the outgoing DC Prabhuling Kavalikatti said that the time of nine months to serve the people of Uttara Kannada district may be very short, but he said that he was satisfied about his work and the effect of it. A public servant need not be a servant of any person, but he should be sincere to his duty, he added.
The new Deputy Commissioner Gangubai Mankar said that during his tenure, he has given the eligible benefits especially to the civic workers. His popularity is evident that lot of people have attended the farewell.
The ADC Raju Mogaveera speaking on the occasion said that people may forget the person but not their contribution made for the benefit of the society.
Officials, staff of all the departments of the district and public have attended the program.
