Karwar : A workshop on “Career Guidance and Employment Opportunity” was held on behalf of Divekar College and Indian Coast Guard at Divekar College here recently. Speaking on the occasion Inspector General Manoj Baadkar, Commander of Indian Coast Guard, Western Region, said that the students should develop nature of courtesy towards teachers and seniors and also to respect our parents. All the students irrespective of their family background have their own innate qualities and talents and they should come forward academically and work hard for the development of the country. The role of today’s youth is very important for the prosperity of our country, he said.
On this occasion, Baadkar was felicitated by the college for receiving the Pradhan Mantri Tatrakshak Award.

Principal of the college Dr. Keshav KG welcomed. Coast Guard Commander Suresh Kurup and Commander Manjunath were present on the dais.
