Canara Bank launches Credit Facilities to Hospitals and Entrepreneurs

Karwar : Canara Bank Regional Office, Karwar has supplied Covid related Medicines, Masks and Sanitizers to DHO, Karwar and PHC Chendiya Officials on 31.05.2021 (Monday). The Kits have been handed over to Dr. Sharad Nayak DHO Karwar by Rama Nayak, Regional Manager, Canara Bank Karwar.
Speaking after handing over the kits Rama Nayak said that Canara Bank is helping the public through various initiatives during this COVID pandemic and requested the public not to feel stress, anxiety and worry about COVID-19 but to follow COVID Appropriate Behaviour (CAB) properly.
Rama Nayak further said that the Bank has launched the “immediate credit facility” to improve Medical Infrastructure and Medical facility in the district and therefore he requested the young entrepreneurs to come forward and avail loan facility and start industries viz; Production of Medical Consumables, Sanitizers, Oxygen Plants, Masks, Medical Gloves, PPE kits etc.
Canara Bank through its wide network of 83 branches in the district, contacting all the Hospitals and Entrepreneurs and promoting Medical Infrastructure and Industries in the district, he added.
Dr. Ramesh Rao, RCH , DHO official Shankar, Girish, Chendiya PHC Officials , Canara Bank Regional Office Deputy Regional Managers Vinay Kumar and Ms. Laxmi Ramanathan and Lead Bank Chief Manager P. M. Pinjar were present at the event.
