Karwar : The Deputy Commissioner Mullai Muhilan visited Sea Bird Naval Base here on Thursday to seek cooperation to face predicted COVID third wave.
He had a meeting with Rear Admiral Mahesh Singh (NM), Flag Officer (Karnataka) and requested cooperation from the local Sea Bird and their INS Patanjali Hospital to face anticipated COVID third wave.
DC Muhilan thanked the Naval Base authorities for their support to the District Administration in the past in managing floods and other natural disasters in Uttara Kannada district and also requested the same type of support in the Monsoon season. The Naval Officers learnt to have responded to the request positively.
Naval Base Surgeon Captain J S Randhava, Commanding Officer, INS Patanjali, Captain V S Guru, Chief Staff Officer (Operations) and DHO Dr. Sharad Nayak were present.
