Karwar : “Guru Seva Ratna” awards program for the year 2022-23 has been organised under the joint auspices of Department of School Education, Office of the Block Education Officer Karwar and Karnataka State Teachers Pratibha Parishad (R) Mysore here recently.
The selected Cluster Resource Persons CRPs, Block Resource Persons BRPs, and Block Resource Teachers BIRTs have been felicitated on that occasion.
Shantesh Nayak, BEO of Karwar taluk after presenting the awards said that the Awards have been given to the teachers who have shown good performance in their respective areas.
The chief guest of the function Dr. Ibrahim Kallur speaking on the occasion said that the place of spiritual or academic guru is paramount in the world and he was very happy that today Gurus were being felicitated.
Block Resource Person Mrs. Bharti Kamath, CRPs Mrs. Vidyabai Naik, Mrs. Mamata Bunt, Mr. Kumar Rangaswamy, Mr. Ashok Gaonkar, BIRTs Mrs. Prabha Rane, Kumari Nisha Desh Bhandari have been presented with “Guru Seva Ratna Awards”
Mrs. Shobha Karnik, who received the “Shikshna Seva Ratna Award” has been felicitated on the occasion.
R P Gowda, the President of the Teachers’ Association and Office Manager Rajendra Naik, were present.
Karwar CRP Leader Prashantha Sawant welcomed. President of Karwar Unit of Karnataka State Teacher’s Pratibha Parishad, Ganesh Bishthannanavar, compered the program and proposed vote of thanks.
