Protest March on March 28-29 against Corruption from Karwar to Ankola , Janashakti Vedike spearheads

Karwar : A “Padayatra” has been organised from Karwar to Ankola a 35 kilometer stretch on March 28th and 29th to draw the attention of the Government against the ongoing unabated “Corruption” in the State.
While addressing a Press Meet the President of Janashakti Vedike, Madhav Nayak informed that the ‘Padayatra’ will start on Tuesday March 28th morning at 6.30 from Karwar Municipal Garden which will reach Aversa in the evening and the participants will take rest for that day.
On March 29th Morning the March will start from Aversa and reach Ankola via Belekeri, Bhavikeri and Keni. Evening at 4 pm a meeting is organised at ‘Satyagraha Smaraka Sabhabhavan’ Ankola where in the former Lokayukta Justice N Santosh Hegde will address the gathering. Padma Shri Awardees Smt. Sukri Bomma Gowda and Smt. Tulasi Gowda will attend, Nayak added.
Madhav Nayak further informed that as a precautionary measure, an Ambulance, Medicines, water and snacks will be carried along with the March.
KaSaPa Karwar Taluka President Rama Naik, Babu Shaikh, Rajendra Anchekar, Altaf Shaikh, Khairunnissa Shaikh, Councillor Shweta Naik, Fakirappa Bhandari, Suraj Kuramkar, Ajay Shigli and others were present at the Press Meet.
