“Dudiyona Bara” “Come Let us work” Campaign by Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat

Karwar : The MGNREGA project has a wide range of departments that help farmers with their wages, utilize them and grow them economically. Under this programme Uttara Kannada Zilla Panchayat has started a Campaign “Dudiyona Bara” “Come Let us Work” for coming three months from 15th March this year. ZP Chief Executive Officer Priyanga M informed in a Press Release recently.
The rural under previleged families who have not availed any facilities under this programme will be motivated to participate actively in this programme. The main purpose of this campaign is to generate employment locally to lead their life with self reliance, therefore the rural under privileged families should take benefit of this program, Priyanga M appealed.
Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department has started this campaign from 15th March to 15th June in order to give relief to the rural families who are migrating to other places for want of any earnings in their village.
As per this program during summer season every family will be give at least 60 days of work which will generate income of minimum Rs.16,000/- In addition to this income, the families will be provided with fertilizers, seeds so as to enable them to be prepared for the Monsoon agricultural activities, Priyanga M informed.
